Kindling the Hidden Hanukkah Light
Beyond the historical Torah and Judaism that we presently know is a deeper, clearer, truer revelation of Torah and Judaism not previously revealed. This new light emanates from “higher partzufim,” depths of consciousness that have previously been virtually inaccessible to most people. In our times, awareness of this light is becoming increasingly common, indicating a major shift in human consciousness.

At the same time, leading kabbalists in Jerusalem are in agreement with sages in many Wisdom Traditions that we are very close to the end of an epoch in human history. Now that many signs suggest that we are indeed rapidly approaching those final days, we need to rely on a new/old, deeper revelation of Torah Light that can help us remain sane, despite the many grave threats to the survival of human society on Mother Earth. The kabbalah of the previous paradigm essentially revealed the practice of the nefesh, ruach, and neshamah (body, mind, and intellect). To deal with the Days Ahead, we need to access this new/old revelation of Meta-Judaism for opening the chayyah (transpersonal source of inspiration) and realizing the yechidah (Ground of Being). In this workshop we focused on teachings from Kabbalah and Hasidic Masters that point to, prophesy, and name this Light. Along with the teachings, we learned and practiced special meditations for creating vessels that can receive, hold and transmit this powerful light. This one-day workshop with Reb Moshe Aharon was held on December 7, 2008 and includes 2 2-hour sessions.

Judaism From a Kabbalistic Perspective: Course 1
Judaism as a spiritual teaching and path has gone through several stages of development. By the beginning of the 18th century, the influence of Kabbalah was pervasive and informed most schools of traditional Judaism. However, few Jews actually applied themselves to the esoteric practices of Kabbalah or understood its highly technical concepts.

Nevertheless, normative Jewish belief prior to the Reform movements of the 19th century was heavily based in the Kabbalist worldview and understanding of Torah. This worldview was best described by Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto (1707-1746), in The Way of G-d.

We use this text as a comprehensive introduction and review of traditional Judaism, according to Kabbalah. The text, The Way of G-d is required and is available in a bi-lingual edition, translated by Aryeh Kaplan and published by Feldheim. Because of its depth and comprehensive nature, the class is of value to beginners and more advanced students alike. Preparing for the High Holidays
Judaism is a spiritual path that follows the flow of a sacred calendar. Every year particularly auspicious times recur when it is possible to re-experience on ever deepening levels profound spiritual insights. During the month of Tishri a number of the most auspicious times occur which are called the “High Holy Days.” Attaining the profound spiritual experiences that are available during those days, requires a deeper understanding of the meaning and nature of these auspicious times. It is also extremely helpful to begin preparing ourselves several months in advance for the experience of Tishri, by learning and practicing a number of spiritual disciplines that can help us remove elements within our minds, bodies, and personalities that limit or block our access to the Divinity that supports all existence.
